Golf Courses Near Waynesville, NC

Located in a valley surrounded by forested mountains some 30 miles west of Asheville, Waynesville rivals Blocking Rock and Highlands as an upscale summer vacation spot. Lake Junaluska Golf Course is a par-68 layout that consists of an old nine from 1919 and a second nine from the1990s. The par-3 9th plays beside the lake to a minuscule green. Maggie Valley is a varied jewel with a fairly flat front nine and a hillier, highly scenic back nine inundated with streams.
