Golf Courses Near Saginaw, MI
With several museums, parks and other things to do outdoors, Saginaw, a city of around 50,000 people, has much to offer. Museums include an art museum, sculpture museum and the Castle Museum, which is housed in a historic building that looks like a castle and has more than 100,000 artifacts dedicated to the city’s French heritage. Other attractions include the Shiawassee National Wildlife Refuge as well as several golf courses in the area. Many of them offer tee times to the public, including The Sawmill Golf Course, which plays more than 6,700 yards from the tips. Swan Valley, Crooked Creek and Saginaw Valley Public Course are other layouts open to the public. Private Saginaw Country Club, designed by Tom Bendelow, opened in 1898.
