Golf Courses Near Midland, MI

Known for its beautiful outdoors, local food scene and scenic downtown, Midland offers visitors an array of things to do and see. The city, which is located in Michigan’s Lower Peninsula not far from Saginaw Bay on Lake Huron, offers beautiful Dow Gardens, the longest canopy walk in America, a minor league baseball team and plenty of hike and bike trails. In town you’ll find all kinds of eateries, breweries and entertainment. There’s also plenty of golf tee times available to the public, starting with Currie Municipal Golf Course. The local complex has a terrific 18-hole course, originally designed by Jerry Matthews, as well as a nine-hole course and par-3 layout. Other courses in Midland include the public Sandy Ridge Golf Course as well as the private Midland Country Club. Nearby communities offer plenty more public golf options, including 27-hole Twin Oaks in Freeland.
