Golf Courses Near Ludington, MI
With miles of pristine beaches, historic lighthouses and plenty of restaurants, pubs and parks, Ludington is one of Michigan’s most popular tourist destinations, especially in the summer months. The city of just under 10,000 residents is located on Lake Michigan at the mouth of the Pere Marquette River. This is also where you’ll find the Badger Ferry, which transports people across Lake Michigan to Wisconsin and back. Ludington is also a great place to play golf. Locals and visitors alike can get tee times at several fine public golf courses like Lincoln Hills, an historic Tom Bendelow design that opened in the 1920s. Hemlock Golf Club, designed by Ray Hearn, is another good public option. And Lakeside Links, as the name would imply, plays around wetlands and native hardwoods, routed around Lake Hopkins.
