Golf Courses Near Harbor Springs, MI

The resort community of Harbor Springs features plenty of coffee shops, eateries, quaint shops and art galleries. Located on the north shore of Little Traverse Bay on Lake Michigan, it’s also the deepest freshwater harbor in the United States. Its location translates into a a great spot for outdoor recreation, and that includes a terrific selection of golf courses in addition to boating, fishing and hiking. Most prominent is Boyne Highlands Resort in Harbor Springs. The resort has five golf courses, four of them championship level, including the Arthur Hills Course, the Robert Trent Jones-designed Heather Course, The Moor Course and the Donald Ross Memorial, which pays homage to great holes on Ross courses throughout the country. Other great options for tee times include Chestnut Valley Golf Course, Crooked Tree Golf Club in nearby Petoskey, and the 27 holes at Bay Harbor Resort in Bay Harbor.
