Golf Courses Near Fremont, MI

Located in western Michigan, just a few miles from Muskegon near Lake Michigan, Freemont is a small town with plenty to do. It has a performing arts center, shopping, local eateries and even a brewery. Freemont, which is the home of Gerber Products, also has plenty of tee times available at public golf courses. One of the most enjoyable is Waters Edge Golf Club, a well-conditioned medium length layout that won’t beat you up. Freemont also has the 18-hole Northwood Golf Course as well as a par-3 course called Summer Breeze, the latter which is located at The Commons, a shopping and entertainment complex. The best course in the area is just southwest of town in Twin Lake. Opened in 2004, Stonegate Golf Club is one of the highest rated daily fees in Michigan.
