Golf Courses Near Freeland, MI
Located about 15 miles northwest of Saginaw in the Great Lakes Bay Region of Michigan, Freeland beckons visitors with its recreational opportunities like fishing, boating and ecotourism. Freeland also offers wine tastings, an apple orchard, restaurants and pubs. Golfers can also enjoy this community with such offerings as the Golf Club at Apple Mountain. A ski resort in the wintertime, this 1998 John Sanford design plays nearly 7,000 yards from the tips. Another good option for the public to get tee times is the 27-hole Twin Oaks Golf Course, which opened in 1965. Additional courses include Beach Hollow Golf Course in Freeland as well as several courses in nearby Saginaw, led by The Sawmill Golf Club, a John Sanford design that opened in 1997.
