At one time the second largest manufacturer of automobiles and parts behind Detroit, Flint remains an industrial city with a diverse population. Today, this city of just under 100,000 people, located about 70 miles north of Detroit, offers its share of museums, parks, restaurants, farmer’s markets and other things to do outdoors, including golf.
