Golf Courses Near Bay City, MI
Originally known as “Lower Saginaw,” Bay City, which is near the mouth of the Saginaw River, Saginaw Bay and Lake Huron, is a charming city that offers all kinds of activities, quaint shops, brewpubs, restaurants and plenty of outdoor activities. Bay City is also home to the Saginaw Valley Naval Ship Museum, where you can tour the USS Edson Destroyer. The city is also a great spot for public golf courses. One good place to get tee times is Saginaw Valley Golf Public Course, an Art Johnson-Larry Packard design that plays nearly 7,000 yards and opened in 1965. Other options for the public include the Bay Valley Resort & Conference Center, which has a Desmond Muir-designed par-72 course, or the par-70 White Birch Hills Golf Course.
