Golf Courses Near Stow, MA
Surrounded by apple trees on rolling hills, Stow is a quiet suburb west of Boston. One of the most popular activities is visiting orchards like Carver Hill, Shelburne Farm and Honey Pot, where you can pick your own apples or enjoy fresh cider. Other attractions in the area include the American Heritage Museum, Animal Adventures and Assabet River National Wildlife Refuge, which has wetlands, vernal pools, and large forested areas Stow is also a great spot for golf, with plenty of tee times available at outstanding public courses. The best known is 36-hole Stow Acres Country Club, site of the 1995 US Amateur Public Links Championship. Both courses are open to the public. Butternut Farms Golf Club and Wedgewood Pines Country Club are also great choices open to the public in Stow.
