Golf Courses Near Lexington, MA
Famous for being the site where the first shots of the Revolutionary War were fired, Lexington is a city with a rich history. Known for Lexington Common, or Battle Green, this is where you can see the Minuteman Statue and Revolutionary Monument that commemorates the militia who clashed with the British. There’s also the Hancock-Clarke House, which documents the town’s role in the Revolution, and locals also perform re-enactments from the war. Located northwest of Boston, Lexington, with a population of around 33,000, also has plenty of local eateries and pubs as well as parks. Golfers will also be able to book tee times in Lexington and the surrounding area at several golf courses open to the public. A couple of examples include nine-hole Pine Meadows and Woburn Country Club.
