Golf Courses Near Canton, MA

Historic Canton, located about 15 miles southwest of downtown Boston, is a town of just under 30,000 with plenty of character. This is the place where Paul Revere built the nation’s first copper rolling mill in Canton in 1801. It’s a great place to check out historic homes, like the David Tilden House, which has stood for nearly three centuries. The city also has its share of parks, local restaurants, pubs and even a couple of local craft breweries. Golfers will also find plenty of tee times in the Canton area. For example, municipal Ponkapoag Golf Course offers 36 holes of golf, while Brookmeadow Country Club, an 18-hole layout more than 6,700 yards, long, is another popular public choice.
