Golf Courses Near Bowling Green, KY
Home of the University of Wester Kentucky, Bowling Green is a beautiful city with a variety of things to see and do. This college town of approximate 68,000 residents offers museums, great local shopping, coffee shops and local restaurants, pubs and a few other unusual attractions. Among them is the National Corvette Museum, which celebrates “America’s Sports Car,” in the city where Chevrolet has been building them since 1981. It’s also a great spot for anyone who likes to explore caves, with Lost River Cave, located beneath the city, as well as Mammoth Cave National Park, which is about 30 miles from downtown, as main attractions. There’s also a minor league baseball team, the Hot Rods, an affiliate of the Tampa Bay Rays; Historic Railpark and Train Museum; and Beech Bend Park, an amusement park, raceway, and campground all rolled into one. Golf is also plentiful in the area with plenty of courses and facilities offering tee times in Bowling Green. Among the most popular is the Arthur Hills-designed course at The Club at Old Stone, a stern test that plays more than 7,300 yards from the back tees.
