Golf Courses Near Bloomington, IN
One of America’s greatest college towns, Bloomington nestled in the rolling hills of southern Indiana. This city of 85,000 residents also serves as the temporary home to tens of thousands of students at Indiana University, a great learning institution that’s probably most famous for its basketball teams. The Hoosiers won five national championships, most recently in 1987. But the town and the university offers so much more. Residents and visitors alike can see plays and music at the university. There are great restaurants and bars and even a couple of wineries to go with antique shops. Nearby Monroe Lake offers plenty of recreational opportunities, and golfers will find there are lots of tee times available in Bloomington. One of the best courses open to the public is the Pfau Golf Course at Indiana University, which can play as long as 7,700 yards from the back tees.
