Golf Courses Near Montrose, CO

Great restaurants, breweries, museums and plenty to do outdoors is what awaits in Montrose, which is located along Colorado’s Western Slope. Among the attractions are the Montrose County Historical Museum and Ute Indiana Museum as well as the Montrose Botanic Garden and Montrose Water Sports Park, located just minutes from a charming downtown full of great eateries and several breweries. One the biggest attractions, however, is the Black Canyon of the Gunnison National Park, one of the hidden gems of the National Park system. There’s also the Black Canyon Golf Course, one of several golf facilities in the area offering tee times in the Montrose area. Black Canyon is a municipal that opened in 1959.
