Celebration Golf Club is an 18-hole championship course in the picturesque, nostalgia-filled Disney town of Celebration, Florida. Located just off of the I-4 and close to some of Orlando s prime attractions, this Robert Trent Jones Sr.-Robert Trent Jones, Jr. design from 1996 is a true destination golf course that celebrates the game at every level. Over the years Celebration Golf Club has hosted a plethora of tournaments, ranging from U.S. Senior Open qualifiers to the Florida State Public Links Championship, as well as important invitational competitions and prestigious junior events. Not only is the course always very highly rated for being friendly for women, it is considered one of the most junior-friendly courses in the country and boasts a renowned Golf Academy that emphasizes junior programs. Celebration Golf Club was the third and final design collaboration by the legendary Jones father and son course architects. This lush parkland playing field is a bit more open on the front nine. The back nine delves into a more wooded realm. While houses are present throughout much of the routing, pine groves, ancient live oaks, magnolias, flowers and numerous lakes and wetlands lend a picturesque quality to the layout. Four standard sets of tee markers offer challenges between 5,181 yards and 7,038 yards. There s also a fifth set for those who wish to play Celebration Golf Club as an 18-hole par-3 course. Though the playing field is fun and manageable for golfers of diverse skill levels, the layout has some bite.?Celebration Golf Club?is a placement course that?puts a premium on accuracy. Marsh and trees and a few blind tee shots preclude a  bombs away strategy. Mounding, bunkers, swales and undulations add plenty of intrigue to the fairways and green complexes. Celebration Golf Club features inviting, Champion Bermuda greens that roll moderately fast and true. None of the undulations on the putting surfaces are overly severe. Practice facilities include a scenic aquatic driving range in which you hit off grass into targets set out in a lake, two chipping greens and two putting greens. The elegant clubhouse is home to one of the top-100 golf shops in the United States and the Windmill Restaurant.
