The Jones Course at LPGA International Golf Club is the original championship 18 at a world-class 36-hole championship club in Daytona Beach, Florida. Located amidst a master-planned resort and residential community just down the road from the headquarters of the LPGA, the facility is the LPGA s home club. Even so, the club invites everyone to play and enjoys a reputation for being the most prestigious public-access golf haven in the region. When you have a tee time to play the Jones Course at LPGA International Golf Club, you ll be testing your skills on a layout that formerly hosted numerous LPGA Tour championships and has more recently been the Symetra Tour Championship venue for up-and-coming women stars. Originally known as the Champions at LPGA International, the Jones Course at LPGA International Golf Club, though built specifically for important championships, is the club s more playable and enjoyable test for golfers of wide ranging abilities. Not surprisingly, it is considered one of the most women-friendly places to play in the entire United States. The layout, which weaves its way amidst the residential community, is wide open with no trees in play. Jones pushed copious amounts of earth around to create his trademark mounds that frame the fairways and help contain shots that veer toward trouble. Wind, bunkers and water hazards stand out as the principal defenses against scoring at the Jones Course at LPGA International Golf Club. Though lakes and wetlands loom on the majority of holes, the aquatic features are generally removed from the preferred lines to the fairways and greens. One notable exception is the par-3 17th hole, where a lake blankets the front and sides of the green. The showcase three-hole finish of the Jones Course at LPGA International Golf Club utilizes water superbly and brings the round to a rousing conclusion. Jones s large, multi-sectored, meticulously groomed greens roll true, but if you wind up in the wrong section, two-putts can be a significant achievement. The Jones Course at LPGA International Golf Club, along with its sister eighteen, the Hills Course at LPGA International Golf Club, share a clubhouse and practice facilities. You can warm up on state-of-the-art practice facilities that include a driving range, short game area with sand bunker, and multiple putting green. There's a top-notch Golf Academy here, too. The large, elegant clubhouse is home to a lavishly stocked pro shop, guests locker and shower areas, and a restaurant. Patio tables overlook the golf grounds. The Jones Course at LPGA International Golf Club, a highly playable layout where you walk in the footsteps of LPGA stars, is a choice tee time in Daytona Beach.
