      • Skamania Lodge #4: One of the course signature holes. Beware of the infamous Columbia Gorge winds that will blow your shot offline. A strong drive will clear the hazards, but a smart play is to lay back even with the large tree, 150 yards from the green.
      • Skamania Lodge #6: Swirling winds can make this deceptively easy looking hole a bear. Club selection is very important, as you'll notice it's quite a drop from the tee. All in all, a shot that lands on the green is really very good!

      • Skamania Lodge #7 (Windy Ridge) - Second shot should favor the left side to open up your approach to the green. Once on the green, take a minute to admire the grandeur of the Gorge, with wind Mountain in the background.
      • Skamania Lodge #1: The fairway drops off to the right, so the ideal tee shot is down the left side. The hole is slightly uphill from 150 yards in so you might need one extra club for your approach.
      • Skamania Lodge #2: Don't be fooled by the yardage on the scorecard. This hole, with Foster Creek lurking in the trees to the left, demands accuracy off the tee. A successful tee shot will reap great rewards and offer a good chance for a birdie.
      • Skamania Lodge #12: A course signature hole. Ideal tee shot is around, over, under or through the clump of maple trees and down the hill. Don't get too greedy on your approach shot as this green is heavily guarded by Lilly Pad Lake on the right.
      • Skamania Lodge #3: The "Summit" hole. The most demanding par 5 offers no relief until the ball is holed. Uphill all the way, this hole requires three well-hit shots to reach the green, the highest point on the course. Be sure to check the pin placement as

      Tucked amidst the waterfalls, peaks, forests and canyons of the Columbia River Gorge lies a rustic mountain resort called Skamania Lodge. The Lodge offers, The Gorge 9, a golf experience you will not soon forget! This 9-hole par three course winds through the forest and around ponds, with peace, quiet and perhaps some curious wildlife many times your only company. The course is designed for walking with a very few carts available for ADA purposes, which must be reserved in advance by calling the Golf Shop. Located about an hour east of Portland, OR, cross the Bridge of the Gods in Cascade Locks and follow the signs.
