Nestled in Texas hill country, Lago Vista Golf Course in Lago Vista, Texas, is a challenging par 72, 18-hole course located just northwest of Austin that features numerous changes in elevation and undulating greens. Originally a nine-hole facility when opened in 1971, the course expanded to a full 18-hole club under the tutelage of course designer Leon Howard and operated as a private course until the mid 1990s. And with an ideal position on the peninsula of the North shore of Lake Travis, golfers are treated with scenic views of the lake on one of the best kept secrets in Texas golf.
