You can take it on from as short as 4,964 yards and as long as 6,709 yards. The chief challenge boils down to keeping the ball in play. The Farms Golf Club features a mix of open and tree-lined holes, with a few big doglegs on the front nine. Some of the holes are quite tight, and the intimidation level rises because there are lots of houses around that are in range of errant shots. The most thrilling shots at The Farms Golf Club are forced carries over lakes. Consecutive par 3s bring the front nine to a close and kick-start the back nine. In recent years several bunkers have been removed in an effort to make the course play easier for ordinary golfers. Note that while members are permitted to walk, public players must take a cart. Practice facilities at The Farms Golf Club include a driving range, chipping area, and two practice greens. The clubhouse features a golf shop, space for special events, and a bar and grill.
