105 South Pelham Rd, Welland, Ontario, L3B5N8The Heron is the championship course here at Cardinal Lakes. Measuring 6765 yards from the back tees, it plays considerably longer as a number of holes play into the prevailing wind. Water comes into play on 13 of the 18 holes which makes the Heron a real test off the tee and on your approach shots. If you manage to navigate well through the first 17 holes remember that many great rounds have been ruined on the signature 18th, a 180 yard par 3 from the back tee to a green almost completely surrounded by water!
