The 18-hole Kingswood Golf Course and the 9-hole Berksdale Golf Course make up the 27-hole Kingsdale Golf Complex in Bella Vista, Arkansas. Course architect Ed Ault originally laid out Kingswood in 1968 and then, working with Tom Clark, revised it in 1977. With its relatively short length, its generous fairways and mostly flat lies in the fairways, Kingswood Golf Course is manageable for players of all skill levels, even beginners. Five sets of tee markers ensure that everyone can take it on from a comfortable distance. Kingswood Golf Course can be played from as short as 3,922 yards and as long as 6,263 yards. The layout regularly earns plaudits for its mix of wide open, spacious holes and its fewer tighter, tree-lined tests. Kingswood Golf Course doesn t have a lot of trouble to trip golfers up. The bunkers are not intimidating. Water, in the form of ponds and creeks, enters the fray on six holes. Kingswood Golf Course s receptive greens roll true but generally rather slowly. Though the stated pace of play is four hours per round, much depends upon how busy the course is on any given day.
