It’s Big Prize Friday and you might be our winner - today on Golf Now’s Trivia Contest.

Hey there, Keri Murphy here with the final trivia question and prize for this week here on GolfNow.com and our featured course for today is Twin Warriors just north of Albuquerque, New Mexico – another course in our GolfNow network where you can save when you book online with us at www.GolfNow.com - the #1 tee time website in the nation.

Okay, let’s just get right to our final trivia question for this week, which has to do with one of the most prestigious awards given out in the sport and, so, our question is:

Who was the last female golfer to win the USGA’s Bob Jones Award?

Was it:

A. Louise Suggs

B. Nancy Lopez

C. Patty Berg or

D. Babe Zaharias

Just mark your answer on the entry form at GolfNow.com and on Monday’s show, we’ll tell you who it was and we’ll see if your answer was correct and earned you another entry into our computer for our daily drawings.

Now, let’s find out the answer to our trivia question from yesterday’s show, which was:

Which country features a golf club with 12 different courses that were each designed by a different golfer or architect?

Located about 30 minutes north of Hong Kong, the Mission Hills Golf Club in China holds the Guinness World Record as the largest golf facility in the world and features 12 different 18-hole golf courses designed by 12 different golfers and architects. The first course built at Mission Hills was the World Cup Course designed by Jack Nicklaus which opened in 1994 and all of the courses since then have been named after their designer, including first-timers designers Annika Sorenstam, David Duval and David Leadbetter. The other designers who also have courses at Mission Hills are Greg Norman, Ernie Els, Vijay Singh, Nick Faldo, Spain’s Jose Maria Olazabal (Oh-lah-ZAH-bull), Japan’s Jumbo Ozaki, famed architect Pete Dye and the very first par-3 course in China, which was designed by Zhang Lian Way.- (pronounced, oddly enough, like “John Elway”)

So, if you answered C - then you were right and you’ve added one more entry into our computer for our daily drawings where you can win great golf prizes and since today is Big Prize Friday, our big prize is a Sun Mountain three-wheel push cart and golf bag. Okay, computer, show me today’s winner:

And our winner today is Paul Marston of Tacoma, Washington. Congratulations, Paul, you’ve just won these great Sun Mountain prizes and, in order to claim them, all you have to do is send me an e-mail to me at Keri@golfnow.com within the next 30 days.

Okay, that wraps up another week here on GolfNow’s trivia contest. Thanks to Annie and everyone over at girls golf for my wardrobe, and a big thanks to all of you who played this week including – of course - all of our winners. Of course, don’t forget that when you’re ready to book your next tee time, then come see us at GolfNow.com and you can save up to 70% on more than 1,000 courses in over 20 states.
