Bob Charles was the first left-handed golfer to win which major championship?
Sir Robert James Charles stated out as a bank teller in New Zealand before becoming one of the most successful left-handed golfers of all time. He has been playing for over fifty years now and has over 70 titles, along with several records including being the oldest golfer to make a cut in last year’s New Zealand Open. But, one record that he will always be associated with is being the first left-handed golfer to win a major tournament, after his victory at the British Open in 1963.
