Please note that Phil Mickelson won in 2000 and 2005 on rain delayed tournaments. Both were called after 54 holes.

  2. Neil Johnson Says:

Did Keri say “Honma” or “Homna”? Just asking.

  3. Allan Says:

It looks like there were actually 3 different years that the tournament was shortened to 3 rounds because of weather.

  6. Jason Says:

While Phil’s victories may have come during rain shortened tourneys, he is not one of the choices.

I agree Jeff, Freudian slip? For good reason.

  7. Jeff Says:

Phil won in 2005 just after playing 3 rounds!!

  8. Jon Says:

Phil Mickelson was the latest champion of a 54 hole even due to rain at the ATT Classic.

actually, I believe the question is technically correct as it stands, because with each playoff there are actually more holes played than 54.

One of the answers was the champion after 3 rounds were played. There is no need to correct tit.
