Good question yesterday guys and gals. It is a shame you have to give away hints to the idiots and whiners- the questions have been very easy lately. All they had to do was listen to our wonderful host! Thanks for all the trivia and spending Hump Day with Kerri is always goooood! Keep smiling beautiful!!!!!!!!

Why do you have to Dumb it Down for all those East of the Sierre Nevadas?

I still think that the wording for yesterday’s question was wrong. The only reason i picked Walter Hagen over Jock Hutchinson was specifically because the question said “from America”. From is used when someone is born there. It’s like people talking about Arnold Schwarzenegger. They still say he is “from” Austria.

I have to agree with Enrique. If you watch TV coverage of PGA Tour events or check the Tour website, they usually have a flag next to each player’s name representing the country where they are “from,” meaning birhtplace. Many of the so-called foreigh players on the Tour actually reside now in the U.S. even though they are always identified with the country where they were born. For example. Vijay Singh lives in Florida, but is always mentioned as being “from” Fiji.
P.S. Keri, you make my day.

Although many foreign born golfers now reside here, they are not citizens like old Jock was. Every site I went to said he was from America.

yesterdays question was bogus. In my opinion to be from America means you were born there. If not you could say the last british golfer to visit America before winning the Open was coming from America. Although Joc was an American citizen he was from St. Andrews.
