It’s Tuesday, July 15th, and you might win a British Open prize package - today on GolfNow’s trivia contest.

Hi everyone and welcome back to GolfNow’s trivia contest on this Tuesday during our British Open theme week. I’m Keri Murphy and the featured GolfNow course for today is Casta Del Sol Golf Course in Mission Viejo, California, another course where you can save when you book your tee times online with us at GolfNow.com

Okay, it took over 40 years after the first British Open for a golfer to break 70 during a round and, then, it was even longer before someone did it in every round and so, that leads us to our trivia question for today, which is:

Who was the first golfer to break 70 in each round of The British Open? Was it:

A. Greg Norman

B. Nick Price

C. Ernie Els or

D. Jesper Parnevik

As always, mark your answer on the entry form at GolfNow.com, and on tomorrow’s show, we’ll tell you who it was and you can find out if your answer was correct. Okay, now, let’s find out the answer to our question from yesterday’s show, which was:

Which golfer watched as a streaker ran by him on the 18th green after winning a playoff for his first victory at The British Open?

The 1995 British Open at St. Andrews was just one instance where streakers have made an appearance at this major, which seems to be very popular with naked fans for some reason.

That year, the victim was John Daly - who saw two people running towards him immediately after making his putt on the 18th hole to win the playoff against Italy’s Costantino Rocca. One was his wife, and the other was serial streaker Mark Roberts, wearing only – well you can see for yourself. The first time we can find that the Open was streaked was in 1985 when a man ran onto the 18th green and got punched by golfer Peter Jacobsen. Then, when Tiger Woods made his first professional appearance at the 1997 British Open, Nikki Moffat ran out wearing only a G-string with tiger stripes painted all over her body. And in 2000, again at St. Andrews, three female and two male streakers made an appearance, including stripper Jacqui Salmond who ran out and danced around – appropriately enough - the flag pole on the 18th green just after Tiger teed off on the 18th hole before going on to win his very first British Open.

So, if you answered C – then you were right, which means that you now have one more entry into our computer for our daily drawings and today we’re giving away another one of our special we’ve British Open prize packages which includes the book, The British Open-A History of Golf’s Greatest Championship. Okay, computer, show me today’s winners:

And our winner is Kevin Sweeney of Canon City, Colorado. Congratulations, Kevin, and now, to claim this British Open prize package, just send an e-mail to me at keri@golfnow.com within the next 30 days and we will send your prize out to you.

Okay, that is it for our show on this Tuesday. Oh, and just in case you don’t already have your DVR’s ready, at 8pm Eastern time tonight on The Golf Channel, I’m hosting a special presentation of one of golf’s all-time classic movies, Caddyshack and during the movie we’re also going to introduce you to the Golf Channel’s newest reality series - “Highway 18”- which premieres next Tuesday at 10 o’clock eastern time with me as host. Then, immediately following Caddyshack, there will be an extended sneak preview of the premiere episode of Highway 18, so I hope you get a chance to watch.
