It’s Friday, July 11th and we’re giving away a Bag Boy travel cover. Let’s find out if you’re our winner - today on Golf Now’s trivia contest.
Hey there, Keri Murphy with our last edition of GolfNow’s trivia contest for the week and our featured course for today is the Lexington course at the Revere Golf Club in Las Vegas – another course in our GolfNow network where you’ll find great tee time deals when you book online with us at www.GolfNow.com - the #1 tee time website in the nation. Okay, let’s see what our final trivia question is for this week.
Caddyshack is certainly most golfer’s favorite movie about golf and many fans know a lot of the dialogue by heart. But, let’s see how much you know about one of the other details in the movie, like the one in our question for today, which is:
What brand of beer did Rodney Dangerfield have on tap in his golf bag in the movie Caddyshack? Was it:
A. Pabst Blue Ribbon
B. Schlitz
C. Budweiser or
D. Miller Genuine Draft
Just mark your answer on the entry form at GolfNow.com and, on Monday’s show, we’ll tell you what beer it was and we’ll see if your answer earned you another entry into our computer for our daily drawings.
Now, let’s find out the answer to our question from yesterday’s show, which was:
Which NFL quarterback tried to qualify for this year’s U.S. Open? Was it:
When he’s not quarterbacking for the Dallas Cowboys, Tony Romo likes to spend a lot of time on the golf course – which is about the only place he can hide from reporters asking him about his relationship with Jessica Simpson. Romo has attempted to qualify for the U.S. Open before and, while his playing has been good – it hasn’t been good enough just yet. In May at the local qualifying tournament in Dallas, his final score of five-over-par 75 wasn’t enough to earn him a place at Torrey Pines for the Open but he did get to play on the course with Justin Timberlake and Matt Lauer during Golf Digest’s U.S. Open Challenge where he finished with a final score of 84.
So, if you answered A - then you were right and you’ve added one more entry into our computer for our daily drawings where you can win great golf prizes and our prize today is a Bag Boy T-10 travel cover. Okay, computer, show me today’s winner:
And our winner today is Rob Norrell of Indianapolis, Indiana. Congratulations, Rob you’ve just won a great travel cover by Bag Boy and, in order to claim your prize, all you have to do is send me an e-mail to me at Keri@golfnow.com within the next 30 days and we’ll get your prize out to you right away.
Okay, that wraps up another week here on GolfNow’s trivia contest. Thanks to everyone who played this week, plus congratulations to all of our winners and a big thanks to girls golf for my wardrobe. Don’t forget that when you’re ready to book your next tee time, then come see us at GolfNow.com and you can save up to 70% on more than 1,000 courses in over 20 states. Oh, and next week is British Open theme week so I hope you can join us for that. I’m Keri Murphy, have a great weekend everyone!
