I played golf with Charlie Sifford in 1986 at Avenel in the Military Pro Am. He always had that cigar stuck in his mouth, even when he was hitting the ball. His ball flight was the same for every shot whether it be driver or sand wedge. He shot 71. If he could only putt, he would have shot 60.
