I am disappointed in the video contest judges. Granted, the selections were few; however…did you guys see the same videos that I saw????? Kevie’s video was the hands down winner based simply on video editing! BOOOOOOO!!!!!

You probably didn’t get many entries because relatively few people actually know how to get video onto the web. Most of the ones that do know how are in their basements in front of a computer at 2am instead of on the golf course at 6am.

Congratulations to the Golf in Portland contest winners. Kevie…you were robbed!!! It was obvious that much time & effort was devoted to your entry…and that it was not just a “take-one & print it”. I feel embarrassed, for GolfNow, that they did not recognize you for your sharp, clever, funny & entertaining clip!

I agree with katm4ndo, Kevie’s video was by far the best in just video quality (color, brightness, audio, etc) alone, but he did include some content (golf swings, putting, etc.).
Keri’s talent and great looks is what brings me to the site daily. I just took up the game a year ago and have learned a lot more about the history of golf then I would have watching TV. The questions prompt you on a topic to research and along the way you learn more about the game.
Kudos to Keri and GolfNow!!!

Just to make sure everyone knows, we decided to award “consolation prizes” to our runner-ups and Kevin is going to receive two free rounds of golf along with a sleeve of Titleist Pro-V1 golf balls. Our next runner-up, John Zeman of Phoenix, will receive one free round of golf and a sleeve of Nike Mojo balls and our 4th place entry - Todd Becker of Middleton, Wisconsin - will receive a free sleeve of Nike golf balls.
