Will the prizewinner be notified by email, or do you have to log in daily to check winner?

I think one of the prizes should be a round of golf with Keri Murphy. Does she play? What’s her handicap? Who cares, right! Anybody else think that this would be a way better prize than a golf bag or personalized balls? I think if enough of us are in favor of this perhaps it will happen. What do you say Miss Murphy?

Here are answers to some questions that have come in the last few days:
Tom wanted to know if we contact our winners or if they have to log on. We always e-mail our winners within one week of winning their prize, unless we hear from them first. Plus, the daily e-mails that GolfNow sends out, along with Keri’s blog that you can subscribe to, always list the winners, as well.
Tim wrote in that he has over 190 correct answers this year but hasn’t won yet. We’re glad you’ve been playing the trivia contest for so long but, unfortunately, since it’s a completely random drawing each time, there’s no guarantee that you’ll win. Plus, since people who do win have to sit out of the drawing for 30 days before they can win again (although they can keep playing and adding entries during that time) there is the chance that someone could win twice, which happened only two times this year. We hope that even if you don’t win, that you have fun watching Keri each day and learning some new trivia about golf. For 2008, we are looking to make a change in how we handle our entries that will give everyone a better chance at winning - if you play every day.
Bob wanted to know how many shows have aired since our premiere. Today’s show is our 234th of the year. I don’t think anyone has answered every question correctly (Tim is pretty close) and we would have to run the numbers to see who has the most correct answers.
And Brian wanted to know about us giving away a round of golf with Keri. Keri is very new to golf and with her schedule, she rarely has time to even think about playing. But, we’re planning on shooting formal lessons with her coming up this Spring, which should be fun to watch, and once she feels like she would be a worth opponent, we’ll see about letting a round with Keri be a prize.

It would be really interesting to see who has the most correct answers. I am at 213 but I’m sure someone has more. Let’s hear from anyone who has more.
