Why, in the the top 50 list, are two identical names and zip code entries listed each three times?

I see the question is shown, above, pertaining to the multiple listings of two players (Bruce 95683 and Marsha 95683), but I don’t see any response or answer to the question, why?

It is noticeably that some individuals are entering the trivia contest with multiple email addresses. So, I ask.. are we aloud to use more the one email address?
Example 1
Todd (23114) 21 21 100
Bruce (95683) 20 20 100 *
Bruce (95683) 20 20 100 *
Bruce (95683) 20 20 100 *
Dan (89149) 20 20 100
Example 2
Ken (94564) 20 20 100
Marsha (95683) 20 20 100 *
Marsha (95683) 20 20 100 *
Marsha (95683) 20 20 100 *

Gerald, to point out the obvious there are two possible answers to your question….. one-Out of the ~5200 people that live in that zipcode there just happens to be plenty of people named Bruce and Marsha possibly due to the nationally known Jenner/Brady museum there….. two- Bruce decided that he would create multiple accounts using his name and figured he didnt want to leave his lovely mate Marsha out of the contest so he created multiple accounts for her as well…all was going well for the happy couple until golfnow started posting results. hope this clears things up for you

Jan Brady wouldn’t be happy… Marsha, Marsha, Marsha!

This problem came up yesterday and here is the reply we posted then:
As stated in our rules “Entrants are limited to one entry per trivia question.” Of course, it is difficult to validate this when a single entrant could use more than one email address (as it appears some people are doing). However, we do cross-validate shipping addresses (and other data) when someone wins, so they will only get away with cheating once. If we find someone using the same address under a different wining account we will delete those accounts and redraw for another winner.

Keri,
Go back to picking your own tops!

Since we say golf is an honest game, why would anyone “cheat” in a golf game? If they are so desperate to win something let it be on their consciences. I would not want to play golf with them either.

Marsha,Marsha,Marsha, cheaters never prosper except in government

I hear Kim Jong Il of North Korea made 11 holes-in-one the first round of golf he played - maybe Golf Now TV should send Bruce and Marsha over for a round with him and they can discuss honesty in golf and world affairs.

Some people are born cheaters. It is they who may never know their true handicap!

It looks like the obvious solution would be to have everyone register before they can play. Personally, I think the answer being offered is a little weak. They can only win once? How about Bruce growing a pair and just answer once a day. I’m sure it isn’t that tough to ensure only one answer per IP address. I bet Keri could figure it out.
