Which country has the northernmost 18-hole golf course in the world?
The Tromso Golf Park in Norway holds the distinction of being the northernmost 18-hole golf course in the world and is open from May to October each year. In fact, during the summer months of the midnight sun when it never gets dark, the course is open around the clock. The 6,282 yard, par 72 course is located 35 minutes outside the town of Tromso in a beautiful alpine mountain range near one of the best salmon rivers in the country, and it’s also close to the Norwegian Sea so, in addition to beautiful views you’ll also have an incredibly peaceful round of golf close to the top of the world.
