I am not sure “sang” is the correct term…..

Have a great weekend GN staff!

  2. GolfNow TV Says:

Maybe you’re right Scott. Most sources say the golfer in question “yelled” the vocals.

  3. scotto Says:

I wasn’t trying to be picky, I just can’t imagine any of those guys “singing” a tune. Thanks for all the fun trivia!

Hey scotto, there have been many pro athletes that have been involved in the music business as well. Here’s a few of them:
Bronson Arroyo (Baseball)- sang w/Dropkick Murphy
Wayman Tisdale (Basketbal)l- has released seven albums as jazz bassist
Bernie Williams (Baseball)- jazz guitarist/released Latin-tinged album The Journey Within, featuring Ruben Blades.
Joe West (Umpire) - Country singer
Oscar de la Hoya (Boxer)- released Latin pop album/reached No. 2 on Billboard’s Top Latin Albums chart
Mike Reid (Football)- won 1984 Grammy for writing Ronnie Milsap’s “Stranger in My House”; wrote Bonnie Raitt’s “I Can’t Make You Love Me”; had No. 1 country hit with 1990’s “Walk on Faith”; 2005 inductee, Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame

Those are just a few. It is a bit strange though.
