It’s Monday, June 30th – I’m Keri Murphy and it is Big Prize Monday today on GolfNow’s trivia contest.

Hi, everyone, welcome back to GolfNow’s Trivia Contest on the last day of June and our GolfNow network course for today is the Pointe Golf Club at Lookout Mountian in Phoenix, AZ - and you can find great tee time deals for this course when you book online with us at www.golfnow.com – the #1 tee time website in the nation.

Okay, let’s just get right to our first trivia question for this week, which is:

Which member of the WGHoF was the first LPGA golfer to win more than 2, 3 and 4 million dollars in career earnings? Was it:

A. Nancy Lopez

B. Pat Bradley

C. Juli Inkster

D. Annika Sorenstam

As always, just mark your answer on the entry form at GolfNow.com and tomorrow, we’ll tell you who it was and, if your answer was correct, then you’ll have one more entry in our computer with your name on it for our daily drawings.

Okay, now, let’s find out the answer to our question from last Friday’s show, which was:

Which golf course in Ireland has a hole named after a movie starring Robert Mitchum?

David Lean made his name as one of the great directors in Hollywood with films such as Bridge on the River Kwai, Lawrence of Arabia and Dr. Zhivago. At Christmas time in 1970, his latest epic arrived in theaters- a World War I drama set in Ireland starring Robert Mitchum and Sarah Miles.

The film was shot in beautiful southwest Ireland and some scenes were shot on the beach of the current location of the Tralee Golf Club, which was designed by Arnold Palmer, and it is there that you’ll find the hole named after the film - the par 4-17th hole – Ryan’s Daughter.

So, if you answered B – then you were right, which means that you now have one more entry into our computer for our daily drawings and since today is Big Prize Monday, our Big Prize is a Bushnell V2 Rangefinder. Okay, computer, show me today’s winner:

And our winner today is Cynthia Heynoski of Eire, Pennsylvania and Cynthia, to claim your big prize, just send an e-mail to me at keri@golfnow.com within the next 30 days and we will send your Bushnell V2 Rangefinder out to you.

Okay, that is it for today’s show. You know, even though it’s Monday, who’s to say that you can’t get a roundof golf in this week and, when you do, you can save up to 70% when you book your tee times online at the #1 tee time website in the nation – GolfNow.com. I’m Keri Murphy, have a great Monday everyone and I’ll see you again tomorrow here on GolfNow’s Trivia Contest.

It’s Friday, June 27th and we’re giving away a NIKE Golf grab bag. Let’s find out if you’re our winner - today on Golf Now’s Trivia Contest.

Hey there, Keri Murphy with the final trivia contest for this week here on GolfNow.com and our featured course for today is the Sanctuary in Chicago – another course in our GolfNow network where you can save when you book online with us at www.GolfNow.com - the #1 tee time website in the nation.

Okay, we’ve talked a lot about the names of golf holes on different courses, but this might be the only course that has a hole named after a movie and, so, our question for today is:

Which golf course in Ireland has a hole named after a movie starring Robert Mitchum? Is it:

A. Ring of Kerry Golf Club

B. Tralee Golf Club

C. Killarney Golf Club or

D. Ballybunion Golf Club

Just mark your answer on the entry form at GolfNow.com and on Monday’s show, we’ll tell you which course it is and we’ll see if your answer was correct and earned you another entry into our computer for our daily drawings.

Now, let’s find out the answer to our trivia question on the U.S. Women’s Open that we featured on yesterday’s show, which was:

Which country was the first foreign born winner of the U.S. Women’s Open from?

For the first nine years of the Women’s Open, American women always ended up as champions – including three wins by Babe Zaharias, and two each by Louise Suggs and Betsy Rawls. Since then, winners from outside of the U.S. have included France’s Catherine LaCoste, who won as an amateur in 1967, Jan Stephenson from Australia who was champion in 1983 and Laura Davies from England who won in 1987. Of course, Annika Sorenstam is one of two winners from Sweden and Se Ri Pak and Birdie Kim have both represented South Korea as champions. But, the very first winner to come from outside of the U.S. and capture the championship was Fay Crocker from Uruguay, who won in 1955 at the Wichita Country Club in Kansas.

So, if you answered D - then you were right and you’ve added one more entry into our computer for our daily drawings where you can win great golf prizes and our prize today is a grab bag of NIKE golf products – which includes a dozen NIKE One platinum golf balls. Okay, computer, show me today’s winner:

And our winner today is Ben Husby of Monroe, Michigan. Congratulations, Ben, you’ve just won a great NIKE golf grab bag and, in order to claim your prize, all you have to do is send me an e-mail to me at Keri@golfnow.com within the next 30 days.

Okay, that wraps up another week here on GolfNow’s trivia contest. Plus, thanks to Annie and everyone over at girls golf for my wardrobe, anda big thanks to all of you who played this week including – of course - all of our winners.
