Rated 5 out of 5 by The Best Private Club in the Portland Metro Area Everyone always asks, "what's the best private club in Portland" and many people will forget about Royal Oaks. This place has history (Tiger Woods won here), outstanding conditions, and is a great test of golf at 7000+ yards. The golf course keeps coming at you, with tight fairways, interesting angles based on hole locations and you better make sure you don't short-side yourself or get above the hole. It is a hidden gem in the Pacific Northwest and is a must play if you can gain access to it. August 18, 2015
