Nice Course for Your Buck Nice course in nature. If you want a peaceful quiet golf game with no cars sounds ,no airplanes buzzing, with an occasion train coming thru on the 3rd and 4th hole... This is the course for you. Not really a difficult course but still a nice mixture of 3,4, and 5 pars. Beautiful and peaceful course. April 15, 2014
Good Course, Bad Timing This course is good. However we spent the day chasing the tractor that was spraying fertilizer on the entire course. That was not so bad but really seemed as poor judgement to us was the fact that this tractor did not have turf tires on it and therefore tore up the grounds with its own tires. Where the ground was soft it did some pretty good damage. At 1 point my partners golf ball rolled into one of these tire ruts and was quite fun to watch him chip shot it out of that rutt. Maybe they could have planned to do this earlier and with turf tires. April 3, 2014
Better than I thought it would be Had heard that quality of course was substandard, but that was not true at all. Greens were I great shape, fairways likewise well maintained. I will definitely play here again. Fir a winter day, the course was in great shape! January 25, 2014
The course was great!! The course was in excellent shape. Beautiful. I found it very relaxing. I will play there again. December 15, 2013
A hidden treasure for the costs! The staff was helpful, the course is in great condition, and the locals possess the proper etiquette to support fast play. Bottom-line: If it takes longer than 4 hours to play a round of golf, the golf course has a Marshall issue and the golfers require etiquette training (slow play = move over). Suffolk GC meets the mark for an enjoyable round! Great job! I will keep Suffolk GC on my list of places to return. October 30, 2013
Little grass The fairways have little to no grass at this time. The fairsways are cut very tight. The greens are very tight too making them FAST! October 28, 2013
Nice layout with some challenging putting. Found the greens to be rather quick, but true. First time here and enjoyed the quiet and beauty. Unfortunately, finally came upon the bottleneck around the 14th hole in a threesome that was in no hurry. Every course has that same issue. October 26, 2013
great course for the money course has been nicely redone . enjoyed it very much October 24, 2013
