Countryside Golf Club
Countryside Golf Club is a beautiful Ellis Maples design, located in the heart of the Blue Ridge Mountains in beautiful Roanoke, Virginia.
Built in 1967 on the "Old Kinsey Dairy Farm," Mr. Maples designed an 18 hole championship course that blends the natural beauty of the surrounding area with a unique championship layout which remains a Roanoke favorite. A layout which hosted the 1981 Virginia State Open, won by PGA Tour verteran Bobby Wadkins. With the Blue Ridge Mountains serving as background, Countryside Golf Club features rolling fairways, undulating greens, winding streams and strategically placed sand traps. Four sets of tees provide the challenge for the most novices of golfers to the experienced players.
