Raspberry Falls Golf & Hunt Club was built in 1996 and laid out by Gary Player Design, a firm headed by one of the golfing world’s greatest players. From the beginning, we have become one of the most popular daily-fee courses in the Washington (D.C.) area as a fantastic experience for visitors to our area.

Player used a links style in designing Raspberry Falls, an elegant way to make use of our dramatic rolling terrain, meandering streams and spectacular scenery. We have elevated tee boxes and lush bentgrass greens as well.

And you’ll find that one of the biggest tests of your golfing skills on our course will be conquering our deep Scottish-style stacked pot bunkers. As in Scotland, these bunkers have their own names, including “Lee’s Bunker” and “Grant’s Tomb” on No. 11 and “Satan’s Foxhole” on No. 14. It’s understandable that Player would focus on bunkers in his design. After all, he’s one of the best sand players ever to compete in the game of golf.

Bad greens They had recently aerified the greens and they were not done the best Made the whole round a bad experience. Would def go back but not for about 3 weeks August 22, 2014
Nice course They had just punched the greens two days prior. Greens were rough. Would have been nice to know they had just punched them. August 21, 2014
Worth your time Good course and always in good shape. Generous fairways but play this course for the greens. Usually very fast and not a lot of flat putts. All the scoring is in the putting here. A must play for VA golfers. August 17, 2014
Perfect Course at Price-Drop Tee Times I played this course with a couple buddies before everyone was heading back to college and it is totally worth the $35+ for the greens fees and everything else. As someone playing an expensive game on a budget, I try and get the most bang for my buck and this course did not fail to impress. Greens in great condition, rough was trimmed, bunkers were great, everything about this course was great. It is a challenging course those bunkers WILL GET YOU if you are not careful. Play here no matter when you can it is awesome. August 15, 2014
Raspberry falls This golfing experience is wonderful every time. Staff is friendly. Course conditions were excellent even though it rained hard the night before. August 14, 2014
Great time It poured the whole way to the course. Once we got there it stopped. Not a soul on the course. Best I've had in a long time August 13, 2014
Nice but two bad things We followed a junior tournament which we did not know about. This caused the round to be very slow. Overall the course was very nice and challenging and several sets of tees allows you to pick how hard you want the course to be. However, while on the back 9, I found my ball on the edge of the cart path, as I approached the ball, a large PitBull and another large dog came running at me full speed from one of the houses along the course. The house had no fence and I was in trouble. Luckily as the dog got right up to me, the owner was able to call him back. Could have been a bad scene. Also, on the final hole, the tee boxes are up on a huge cliff (at least a 40 ft drop down to rocks). There was no fencing or guard rails or anything. My son was standing on the right side of the tee box and lost his balance a little and nearly stumbled over the cliff !!! My son could have died simply waiting to tee off. This is unacceptable in every way and I will never play this course again unless that gets fixed. Totally irresponsible. August 12, 2014
High expectations! After reading all of the reviews and coming highly recommended I was a little disappointed with the course conditions. Greens were peppered with ball marks that were not repaired and rough was turning brown in several areas. Tee boxes were thin and bunkers were inconsistent. The value for the amount charged just was not there. Has the potential to be a great course and facility. Staff was great and friendly and would be the reason I would return. August 11, 2014
