Raspberry Falls Golf & Hunt Club was built in 1996 and laid out by Gary Player Design, a firm headed by one of the golfing world’s greatest players. From the beginning, we have become one of the most popular daily-fee courses in the Washington (D.C.) area as a fantastic experience for visitors to our area.

Player used a links style in designing Raspberry Falls, an elegant way to make use of our dramatic rolling terrain, meandering streams and spectacular scenery. We have elevated tee boxes and lush bentgrass greens as well.

And you’ll find that one of the biggest tests of your golfing skills on our course will be conquering our deep Scottish-style stacked pot bunkers. As in Scotland, these bunkers have their own names, including “Lee’s Bunker” and “Grant’s Tomb” on No. 11 and “Satan’s Foxhole” on No. 14. It’s understandable that Player would focus on bunkers in his design. After all, he’s one of the best sand players ever to compete in the game of golf.

Pretty Course But...... My friend and I played here yesterday and had a twilight tee time. Through the first 5 holes or so, the pace of play was ok. Once hole 6 came around, we started playing the waiting game. It wasn't bad at first, maybe 10 minute waits to tee off and to hit your second shot. However, once we got to 10, the wait became really bad. It took us a little over an hour just to play holes 10 and 11. Getting frustrated, my friend and I decided to try to skip several holes to see where the back up was. There wasn't any. We took notice of all of the foursomes plus two FIVESOMES that were in front of us. Now just being very angry, we just left the course only playing only 11 holes. Raspberry Falls is a very pretty and challenging course but for the price, it is not worth the wait to start the next hole. Unless they get a marshall to keep pace of play moving or lower the price, I cannot see myself going back there. July 19, 2014
Still an excellent course and staff Perfect weather and good course conditions despite 3+ inches of rain the day before. Only problem was cart-path-only which is difficult for 3 men between 75 and 82 years old. There are some very wide fairways and hills. July 17, 2014
Raspberry July 14th I was a little disappointed that there was no one at the bag drop to greet us at the very least, let alone the big delivery truck that was blocking the area. There had been some rain the day before so the course was cart path only. However, after playing a few holes, it was apparent to our group that it did not need to be so we were burdened with playing the course leashed to the cart path. But, I digress. We did not get to finish our round because it started raining VERY hard at 13. However, even though this was not my best experience at this course, I would definitely play it again. July 15, 2014
Slow play but fun and scenic course The course was in good shape. Beautiful views on several holes. I played from the yellow tees. The course is forgiving on drives but can be tough around the greens. The course of play was pretty slow but otherwise a great course July 13, 2014
Great Layout - Poor Conditions I am a fan of this course. There are plenty of holes that you can score on. Beautiful surroundings and course layout. What I didn't like was that no one apparently fixes their divots or ball marks on this course, what a shame. Some greens are rough because of the mall marks. July 13, 2014
sand? Always in great condition. Very fair. Greens are well kept. Ball marks: repair mine and at least one more. Sand? You will score well as long as as you don't find the the beach. July 11, 2014
gnats Wow the gnats were a little troublesome. Otherwise nice . a bit slow for nine holes then pace picked up thank you Marshall. July 7, 2014
Beautiful, challenging Raspberry Falls It was a great day to be playing golf. The staff made it a better experience by treating us well when we arrived and checking on us throughout our game. Don't lose your focus on this course because the back 9 are as interesting and challenging as the front. July 6, 2014
