Raspberry Falls Golf & Hunt Club
Wanted to play Raspberry Falls for a long time; finally did. It didn't disappoint. Challenging but fair. Many memorable holes. Highly recommend.

Very good course, not worth $$$ though
Love this course, always in good condition despite the volume of play. Very hot day and the refreshment cart did come by two or three times. Ice cold drinking water every few holes was great. Would play here more often if the fees were less than three figures. Till that happens this will be a special occasion course, maybe once a year.

Another day in the Foothills.
Each time I've played this course I have found it to be in excellent condition with very friendly staff. One of my favorite courses in NOVA.
To me, the 1st Hole is the easiest and the18th the toughest. As it should be.
While there is water on the course, it shouldn't be a factor. In some sand traps around the holes, one should be prepared to get the ball up and over some very high embankments.

Every hole was unique. The most striking hole was the 18th with a cliff-side tee box and a cross-over-the-creek green. Course was in good condition. The course is very much what you see is what you get. Not many surprises. Greens were good with only occasional small bumps. Bunkers were well constructed and in good shape except for a couple that did not drain the rain from the previous night. Saturday morning pace of play could be improved - it was a 4:40 round.

Challenging and enjoyable
The course was in great shape other than few bunkers that had water due to the heavy rain a day earlier. Greatly designed course with lots of bunkers and good combination of long and short holes. Pace of play was good and the practice facility was fantastic. Starter/staff were very nice as well. Only negative thing I can point out was that the beverage cart person was not available where we needed it the most. Overall, it was a very enjoyable round for all of us who played.

A good day
This was my second time playing the course and I found the condition of the tees, fairways and greens were good. The staff was excellent from the inside to the outside. They appear to be doing some bunker renovation as it looked like some of them had new sand but most of them were totally unplayable. Once that process is finished the course will be in very good shape and worthy of the accolades it has been given. Overall it is still a good course to play.

Enjoyed this place
The setting is beautiful. The staff was perfect the day we played. The grounds and course are pretty well maintained. The only knocks on the place I can give are the traps and the greens. The traps are pretty heavily silted. The problems on the greens have nothing to do with the course. Seriously people... repair a ball mark now and again. The lack of conciencious golfers is the only problem with the greens. We played for $44.00 each at 2:15pm through GolfNow. Warm up balls on the range are free with green's fee. The food and beverage prices are a little steep at $4 for domestic beer, $4.50 for imported and $2.00 for a 1.5 ounce bag of Lay's chips. I declined to try the $5.00 hotdog. Overall though I really enjoyed my trip here for the $60 I spent.

very slow pace
I was paired with two individuals and we were moving very quickly through the first 4 hole, but then a foursome two groups in front was unbelievably slow. On every hole starting at number 5 we had to wait a prolonged period of time. There was no one pushing this foresome to move faster, so the experience on this course was not very good. In addition, the fairways were in very good shape and the greens were in good shape, but the majority of the sand traps were unplayable. It may have been due to the recent rains we experienced. In some, there was standing water and where they were dry the ground was hard as a a rock and very uneven. For the price of a round, one would expect a faster round and decent sandtraps
