The best kept greens in town vs price.
Had to wait for cart. It was wet and dirty when we received it. Out of paper towels in restroom. Some fairways with standing water, muddy areas, and some spots hard as rock. Some traps a bit of hard sand. Two groups ahead playing so incedibly slow. Should have been cautioned about pace of play. Never saw beverage cart on course all day. Over all course in pretty good shape. Like I said best green maitenance in town vs price. I reccomend this course all the time.

Greens were Awesome. Play was very slow on the back 9. Never did see A marshall on the course. It was obvious that there was alot of gambling going on
Too much gambling on this course caused VERY slow pay. Need A marshall to speed up the pace

This course is always in great shape!
The greens are in great shape...medium fast, hole #16 if you birdie it ...then you are playing some awesome golf. This is a must play course if you are visiting San Antonio...a great value.

Hole #2 is worth playing a round at Willow Springs
Weather conditions made the fairways play like hard pan. The greens are in great shape. Fantastic food in the grill cafe. I had a great cheeseburger and their breakfast sandwich is the best.

Offer wide variety of challenges
Course layout provides wide variety of challenges- water, sand, trees, doglegs and some fairways that are tight off the tees, but a few that are open. Newer laser-equipped carts are a plus. Greens and fairways are in generally good shape. Even tho a little bunched up at the start and at the turn, pace of play was relaxing, nobody pushing or dragging.

Nice course, friendly staff, clean equipment
Nice course, very busy but pace of play was good. I would visit again.

Good Course Over all
The only issue was slow play and like so many courses they allow to many twosomes. I do not understand why they do not pair up two groups into a foursome down here in Texas.
They also need to employ rangers to speed up play...slow slow rounds all over the courses here in Texas.

This course is in great shape, the greens are perfect.
This course is in the best condition now that I have ever seen it. The greens are almost perfect. I found the best price on GolfNow. com. which made this a great round at a great price.
