Pleasanton Country Club, established in 1968, boasts one of the most scenic layouts in all South Texas. Located just 30 minutes south of San Antonio on Interstate 37, Pleasanton provides the golfer a unique layout coupled with outstanding service. The course's unique undulated “Emerald Bermuda” greens forces the golfer back to a time when “reading the line” was an art. The course remains in great playing condition year round due to a hard working maintenance crew and privately owned water wells.

A round of golf at Pleasanton requires the golfer to use not only every club in the bag, but also their imagination. Although only 6500 yards in length, which can vary depending on the tee box selection, the course’s natural defense can be intimidating. Well over 500 live oak trees provide the breathtaking beauty and the shot altering defense that makes Pleasanton Country Club your next destination. So come out and enjoy a stroll on the lush “Tiff 419 Bermuda” fairways of Pleasanton and challenge your game and your senses!

Rated 3.8 out of 5 by 5 reviewers.
Rated 4 out of 5 by Nice Course, Lots of Trees Grass was in great shape, especially for November. Greens were good also. Course has almost no rough. Some of the fairways were quite tight due to overhanging, large oak trees. Very little sand or water. A nice place to play, and a good value for the money. November 17, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great course for a great price Course was in great shape, always challenging with the oak trees throughout the course. Went to eat at the restaurant afterwards and the chicken fried ribeye was excellent. September 26, 2015
Rated 2 out of 5 by Club in the Country not a Country Club Sad to say this course has gone down hill since they improved the clubhouse. Not because they course was in bad shape but because of the antic they allow on this course. Play is slow on any given day because they allow groups of 6, 8 or 10 are allowed. Don't expect a quiet round either. It's not uncommon to hear music blasting from golf carts across several fairways. Don't expect management to intervene in anyway, they endorse the behavior. Rated 4 out of 5 by Love the course. The Golf Now price made it well worth the hour + drive to play. February 11, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 A great place to spend an afternoon. Easy to find, in good shape, the Pleasanton golf course is a good value. Not too long or crowded, it was a fun place to play. The fairways and greens were well maintained and in good shape. They have leveled the old clubhouse and starting on the new one, but that does not take away from the course. December 2, 2012
