I love it
Yes the course is way out in the country, and yes the course could use a little attention here and there, but the few times that I have played it was great. Fast pace play, speedy greens, extremely challenging, and great value. There are no paved cart paths, but that does not bother me. It is about the best layout I have played in the area.

Disappointing
I had heard good things about the course, especially soon after it was carved out of the Texas piney woods in isolated Montgomery County. I had also heard it was hard to find. And yet it was. What was so disappointing was that the course was dry as a bone and the holes were uninspired. The staff was cordial and helpful, but I had to wait 10 minutes while the pro was checking something on course. Something I've never experienced before. The pro shop had little to offer in the way of equipment or clothing. The setting is picturesque, like Pinehurst, if they would water the course, but I don't know if that would be enough to overcome the isolation of this course.

Don't overpay!
IF you can play this course for under $30...it would be okay....great layout...just not enough play for them to be able to keep it in good condition.
