Great Course This course is unlike the average courses in the hill country. Had a great time and will here again!! August 16, 2014
Great Hill Country Experience We booked through Golf Now. The staff was very cordial in getting us checked in and the facilities are modern, clean, and the Pro Shop is well stocked. The course was well manicured and in great shape, especially considering the extreme drought we are experiencing. The greens were fast which was a real treat to those of us used to a slower roll. If you live in Austin, San Antonio, or surrounding Hill Country, this is a great day trip, especially with adding lunch or dinner in Fredericksburg. We'll definitely do it again! August 16, 2014
Texas Hill Country Golf The design of this course adds to the challenge. The addition of numerous sand bunkers and high grass areas are strategically placed to protect the greens. The slope on some of the fairways is brutal but fun. The course is very well maintained and a in good shape. July 8, 2014
Good course The fairways and greens were in good to excellent shape. The pace of play was decent - considering it was a holiday weekend. We finished our play in a touch over 4 hours. In general, I really enjoyed the course. It's got a few tricky holes in the hills where a round under your belt would help - but not too complicated otherwise. The course is scenic and fun. I did play this course once many years ago when it was a nine hole course; the experience today is completely different. Very well run - I would recommend. July 6, 2014
Great course Played this on a Saturday morning. Teed off at 8am and was done a little after noon. Great course! Really great condition. The epitome of Hill Country golf. I was pleasantly surprised by the conditions and the challenge. The front nine is much more difficult than the back nine. Seemed like every green was elevated. Love this course. June 30, 2014
Very interesting course With the new renovations we really like the layout. An intermediate golfer can play, no problem. The greens were sanded when we played so could not really tell a lot about the greens. June 4, 2014
Better than I expected, fun course. Course was in good condition. Greens looked like they needed just a small bit of work but still good condition and fast. Didn't see the bev cart gal till the 16th hole and her body language suggested she really didn't want to work. Outside of that, the pro shop staff was very friendly and the snacks and drinks were great. Warm welcome when I arrived and was educated on hole location by the pro shop staff since it was my first time playing the course. I would recommend and also play this course again. May 11, 2014
Renovations to the course are challenging First time to play since course shut-down. They've made the course considerably more challenging with deep bunkers and elevations. Greens were in pitiful shape. A course I use to enjoy, I probably won't return. April 13, 2014
