Tour 18 Golf Course Dallas
This Golf Course has gone WAY down hill!!!
Don't waste your time or money on going to this golf course. I played it frequently a couple of years ago and it was well worth the money. TIMES HAVE CHANGED! It was in terrible condition. There was no staff. I would not play it again for free!

Played 8/31 at 2pm- They have lost the greens. The fairways are going out next. Not worth paying $37 to play (we had the avid golfer discount book). Just stay away. Much better resort style course within 10 minutes of Tour 18, much less in the metroplex!

embarrassment to golf
Course conditions were horrible. I thought playing a second time it would be a better experience but I was wrong. On a Friday we were stuck in between 2 five some groups. Tee boxes were torn up as well as the greens. Fairways were In bad shape and bunkers were too.

Texas is hot
Took friends for Ireland to golf in the Texas heat..."IT"S HOT". Imaging what the up keep on the mansions kept our minds off the terrible green conditions. The greens were hairy and I couldn't tell where the greens started and traps begin. Guest thought the idea was great but poorly executed.

Poor green conditions
Had a real unpleasant experience with the golf course recently. Greens were in really poor condition. They were inconsistent and grass was way too long (felt like putting on fairway). They had warned us of 2 greens that were in bad shape (not marked off so people could walk all over the area in repair), and they gave us a coupon to play Mon-Thursday, but we tend to play on weekends, and this course is a bit out of the way to play after work. Had it not been for a coupon, I would have probably tried to get a full refund. The previous time we played, the course was in decent shape, but I would call them to see how the greens are before you go. Not worth the money at the moment (not even as a novelty), with the greens in their current state. Nice challenging course otherwise though.

The greens looked like Great Britain during W W two! I don't know what has happen, but I wouldn't pay two red cents to play it again.

Tour18 Needs to Improve....a Lot
Played Tour18 in Flower Mound, TX recently. I have played Tour18 many times and this has to be the poorest condition that I have played it in quite some time. The course does struggle in the summer time due to issues with water, but I played a few days after a good rain in the area. The course had just punched their greens (and I can understand that it needs to be done), but they had lost several greens that were recently sodded in attempts to repair them. The greens were very long and slow and the fairways had not been mowed for a couple days. Not mowing may be due to the rains, but they weren't that wet.
Everytime I've played Tour18 it is hit and miss. I have palyed it when it is in excellent condition with super fast greens and chellenging holes everywhere. The layout is awesome when it's maintained well. I've played it in the condition that we find it recently. It was disappointing. As a part of playing the course that day I was provided a "Replay Pass". The pass had rMonday - Thursday estrictions with a $40 cart fee . You can get a tee time for less than the $40 cart fee in the afternoon on www.golfnow.com almost anytime. Why would I use a "Replay Pass" with all the restrictions?
To sum it up I probably won't be going back out to Tour18 for a long time even though the course challenges me every time I play. For much better conditions and price I can go down the street to Grapevine Golf Course.
