In the tiny town of Crandall, Texas, you’ll find Creekview Golf Club, a countryside getaway for golfers who love picturesque creekside views and generous fairways that dare golfers to take some risks now and then.

Our 210-acre golf course at Creekview was laid out by renowned course designer Dick Phelps of Colorado, who has created exciting courses in more than 15 states. Our 7,249-yard, par-72 layout meanders among seven lakes and two creeks on a site where fields of snowy cotton once grew. You’ll find mildly rolling terrain plus lush foliage of oak, pecan and cottonwood trees.

Water comes into play on almost half of our 18 holes while 54 bunkers give definition and character to the well-maintained Bermuda fairways and smooth greens that have been rated among the best Bent Grass Greens in the Metroplex. Our generous fairways will be attractive to golfers of all skill levels.

This is a very popular course with local players, after all we’ve been given 3½ stars by Golf Digest. It also makes an outstanding location for an outing for those coming from Dallas, only 20 minutes away from this outstanding course.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Bad Conditions This course had very hard and dry conditions. There were large cracks in the ground even in the fairway. Grass was dead which made locating your ball difficult. Staff is friendly, but the course conditions were really bad. October 20, 2015
Rated 3 out of 5 by You get what you pay for I got a great deal booking through the website -paid next to nothing but I will probably not return. The greens were in average condition for a municipal course but the fairways were just dead grass and dirt. I still wouldn't mind it if the course had more character but it was one one the most boring courses I've played and the course is along side a major freeway so not exactly a peaceful, interesting, fun time. Rated 1 out of 5 by A Dump, But good for the Weekends I have a couple buddies that don't play too often and like this course due to the fact it is pretty much empty and plays quickly and easily. Bring whatever you need, the clubhouse is pretty much empty, no new balls, tees, equipment etc, they do have candy, drinks and snacks, but no real food. The course = Minimal water hazards, wide open fairways without many trees or other hazards. All the bunkers are empty of sand so you get relief from those as they are usually muddy or full of grass and weeds. The fairways and tee boxes are terrible! The tee boxes are hard as concrete for teeing up the ball with minimal grass, the fairways are equally hard and bumpy, with massive cracks from lack of irrigation... I lost a ball in the middle of the fairway, it had to have fallen in one of the many 2"-3" wide cracks that have no bottom. When you hit a tee shot On the plus side, the greens are in really good shape compared to the rest of the course, and if you like to play fast there is usually nobody here so it plays quickly. This could be a decent course if someone took a little time and money and cleaned the place up and did a little maintenance on the course. October 5, 2015
Rated 1 out of 5 by Creekview I wont return. The conditions of this course make it unenjoyable. August 16, 2015
Rated 2 out of 5 by Fine track that has been let go a biyt The layout is very good with a fine mix of holes that allow the "bomb" off the tee as well as needing to place shots to distance points in addition to requiring the ability to shape shots for low handicappers; everything an excellent layout must have. Greens are in great condition while the rest of the course needs water and some tender loving care. wife and I had a wonderful afternoon! August 3, 2015
Rated 1 out of 5 by Great layout but terrible shape Love the design and it could be a great course, but the conditions are terrible. I wanted to play the back tees but they were not even mown at all. It was like playing out of the rough. Fairways were long and scruffy. There were a ton of weeds everywhere. The only saving grace was that the greens were surprising in good shape. They grass looked good and they actually had decent speed. I was supposed to be first tee time at 6:32 but no one showed up till 6:38. Then I went out and caught a group that had just taken off without checking in. Then I had to play through 2 groups on 10 & 11 after I made the turn. That is always annoying to me when people are sent out on 10 when someone is turning. The have photocopied scorecards and only accept cash. I am from out of state but obviously the course has had some major problems in the past. It is too bad because if the course was in good shape, it would be a high-level course. July 19, 2015
Rated 4 out of 5 by Good time Fun course to play and in good vourse to play. Good condition and greens were soft and fast. Carts ran great. July 18, 2015
Rated 4 out of 5 by Bring Cash, and enjoy the course. The new owners are not part of a credit card system yet so bring cash. I was a bit worried when I got there. No cc and the golf shop is simple. But then I got on the course and it was in GREAT shape. The owner takes pride in making the course nice and he does a good job. So,,,,, bring you cash and go golf at. Creekview. The owners need more people to go play to get more cash flow. But you will be glad you did. July 12, 2015
