At the heart of the RiverWatch Golf Club stands Tennessee’s first 18-hole championship golf course on Center Hill Lake. The 6,900 yard scenic layout transforms the natural landscape into challenging yet encouraging tests of ability for players of all levels. Each unique hole is harmoniously woven into the spectacular surroundings of the property, a perfect illustration of golf and nature at their best. Arduous doglegs, dramatic elevation changes and well placed bunkers compliment the well manicured Zyosia fairways and Bent grass greens.

ile preserving the natural landscape RiverWatch Golf Club places an emphasis on accuracy and not length. Tree lined fairways and picturesque plateaus produce a difficult, yet inviting course for all levels of golfers to play. To assist our patrons we have included a state-of-the-art portable GPS system that can be removed from the cart and positioned anywhere on the course. By providing five sets of tees to play from, we allow golfers of all abilities to play competitively within their group, while also offering the possibility of improvement and graduation to the next set of tees.

A first-class driving range allows guests to practice to a variety of target greens to warm up before their round or to improve their game by taking a lesson from one of our PGA professionals. Our short game and putting green entices golfers of all skill levels to polish up on the often neglected portion of their golf game.

Great value - worth the drive This course will challenge your driving accuracy. Course is challenging but fair. Lots of elevation change. Great fun. October 2, 2014
Excelent fairways greens bunkers Excellent fairways, greens and bunkers. Rough has weeds but playable. Very beautiful scenic views all around from tee box to green. This course has it all for the money. Great value. Worth driving an hour for. September 28, 2014
Great Course a bit far from Nashville I played this course with a buddy on a great price from Golf Now. It has always been in great shape, the burgers are a must, my buddy and I usually bet a burger on the round, looser buys. A great experience, the only draw back is it's located in between Sparta and Smithville, with no easy way to get there faster than an hour and 30 minutes, unless you speed on Hwy 70, which I don't recommend, due to the number of speed traps, between Nashville and there. great course for good players I played from the senior tees. It was my first time so was at the mercy of the sloping landing areas and undulating greens which at times were huge, some with false fronts. Beautiful holes, many outstanding features such as several peninsula greens, one which required an approach over a creek canyon, onto a raised, bolder foundation. Lots of bunkers on fairways and around greens. In short, a great course. Definatly, RiverWatch is on my replay list. August 24, 2014
A good Saturday Course was in great shape. Moderately difficult, biggest difficulty would be some very awkward lies can be found if not in the center of fairway. Some holes are fairly sloped even if you find the center. Keeps you interested in planning your shots, not just blasting it as long as you can. August 18, 2014
Not quite as good as it was I played here 6 or 8 times the first 2-3 years it was open and it was superb. It appears ownership cannot afford to keep it at that level. Greens were spotty and in fairways I was often hitting off of minimal grass and hardpacked soil. Few visible yardage guides. Course is still fun to play and hopefully conditions will improve again. Make sure you have a bag of balls available This course is quite challenging to the average golfer. Definitely a mountain course and if off the hole, your ball is probably gone as it drops off on both sides on most holes. Because of this, there are quite a few golfers looking for a ball(s) on every hole and the pace slows down quickly. Even during the week, you are looking a 4+ hour round. July 31, 2014
Riverwatch Sparta Tn I am surprised the course was built in 2000? The course has not progressed as far as I would have thought. The fairways, although green, need a lot of week kill to get the grass to come in better and get thicker. I would not hesitate to pay the course again. Additionally, there was some thought about a "stay and pay" but too has not moved forward. July 28, 2014
