At the heart of the RiverWatch Golf Club stands Tennessee’s first 18-hole championship golf course on Center Hill Lake. The 6,900 yard scenic layout transforms the natural landscape into challenging yet encouraging tests of ability for players of all levels. Each unique hole is harmoniously woven into the spectacular surroundings of the property, a perfect illustration of golf and nature at their best. Arduous doglegs, dramatic elevation changes and well placed bunkers compliment the well manicured Zyosia fairways and Bent grass greens.

ile preserving the natural landscape RiverWatch Golf Club places an emphasis on accuracy and not length. Tree lined fairways and picturesque plateaus produce a difficult, yet inviting course for all levels of golfers to play. To assist our patrons we have included a state-of-the-art portable GPS system that can be removed from the cart and positioned anywhere on the course. By providing five sets of tees to play from, we allow golfers of all abilities to play competitively within their group, while also offering the possibility of improvement and graduation to the next set of tees.

A first-class driving range allows guests to practice to a variety of target greens to warm up before their round or to improve their game by taking a lesson from one of our PGA professionals. Our short game and putting green entices golfers of all skill levels to polish up on the often neglected portion of their golf game.

Not quite as good as it was I played here 6 or 8 times the first 2-3 years it was open and it was superb. It appears ownership cannot afford to keep it at that level. Greens were spotty and in fairways I was often hitting off of minimal grass and hardpacked soil. Few visible yardage guides. Course is still fun to play and hopefully conditions will improve again. Make sure you have a bag of balls available This course is quite challenging to the average golfer. Definitely a mountain course and if off the hole, your ball is probably gone as it drops off on both sides on most holes. Because of this, there are quite a few golfers looking for a ball(s) on every hole and the pace slows down quickly. Even during the week, you are looking a 4+ hour round. July 31, 2014
Riverwatch Sparta Tn I am surprised the course was built in 2000? The course has not progressed as far as I would have thought. The fairways, although green, need a lot of week kill to get the grass to come in better and get thicker. I would not hesitate to pay the course again. Additionally, there was some thought about a "stay and pay" but too has not moved forward. July 28, 2014
Wonderful course.. Great Pace of Play We took advantage of a Noon "Hot Deal" and it was wonderful. As a group of 3 we never ran into anyone, and we never saw the group behind us again after leaving the first fairway. The weather was perfect and the course played very true. July 28, 2014
Amazing Course Riverwatch is a very challenging course with ridiculous elevation changes and rolling fairways. This course makes you truly play golf. It's refreshing to have to hit multiple clubs off the tee box and not just grip and rip a driver. Be prepared to loose many balls if you don't keep it in the fairway consistently. The greens are really firm but will hold a well struck ball. It is also a course you need to play at least once to know how to play it. There are many holes where a well struck ball that appears to be down the middle will end up in trouble or lost. All in all it's a phenomenal course that is really fun and challenging. July 21, 2014
Challenge your game This course is a challenge to many skill levels. The greens are difficult and require good reading ability. The day I played it rained was the only unhappy part of playing the course. Will return and play here again when the weather is better. Wet golfing is not fun. July 19, 2014
Best kept secret in middle Tennessee River Watch has some the best conditioned fairways I have seen anywhere. In middle. TN. This is a gem of a golf course. It was a privilege. to write this review. July 5, 2014
Nice out of the way course This is a nice challenging course a little off the beaten path. Played it in 3 hours as a single on a weekday morning - blue tees. Tees, greens, and most fairways in good shape. Greens were small and not fast. Lots of elevation changes especially on the back 9 - be prepared to hit off of sloping ground frequently. About 4 tee shots I would play differently knowing the hole layouts now - probably wood or long iron instead of driver on the doglegs and #18. June 24, 2014
