At the heart of the RiverWatch Golf Club stands Tennessee’s first 18-hole championship golf course on Center Hill Lake. The 6,900 yard scenic layout transforms the natural landscape into challenging yet encouraging tests of ability for players of all levels. Each unique hole is harmoniously woven into the spectacular surroundings of the property, a perfect illustration of golf and nature at their best. Arduous doglegs, dramatic elevation changes and well placed bunkers compliment the well manicured Zyosia fairways and Bent grass greens.

ile preserving the natural landscape RiverWatch Golf Club places an emphasis on accuracy and not length. Tree lined fairways and picturesque plateaus produce a difficult, yet inviting course for all levels of golfers to play. To assist our patrons we have included a state-of-the-art portable GPS system that can be removed from the cart and positioned anywhere on the course. By providing five sets of tees to play from, we allow golfers of all abilities to play competitively within their group, while also offering the possibility of improvement and graduation to the next set of tees.

A first-class driving range allows guests to practice to a variety of target greens to warm up before their round or to improve their game by taking a lesson from one of our PGA professionals. Our short game and putting green entices golfers of all skill levels to polish up on the often neglected portion of their golf game.

good design but very tight I enjoyed my round at Riverwatch. The course was very difficult because of the tightness of the fairways and all of the hazards and out of bounds around the greens. November 11, 2014
Beautiful Course. Tough Holes I'd like to start this by saying I'm not the best golfer in the world. I have 7.6 Handicap Index. I typically shoot somewhere between 8 - 14 over par from the White Tees but will occasionally play the longest and those are part of my index as well.. This course is absolutely beautiful. Some of the prettiest golf in the Middle TN area. Most holes have bunkers and or water somewhere near the greens. The front 9 is quite a bit easier to play. The fairways are wider and much more forgiving. I love playing the front as it's challenging but manageable. The back 9 is a different story Holes 10 - 18 can be brutal if you are not on point with not only your drives but also your irons. The fairways squeeze in quite a bit and it has woods basically on every hole. Number 13 is one of the most picturesque holes you can find with a huge rock wall and stream running in front of the green which is playing up hill. It's definitely a must see and play hole. I've been out to the course 3 times as it is just a few miles from my hometown. 1 time we were rained out about 4 holes in. 2nd time the weather was great. This last time it rained a little over an inch the night before. Each time, however, it has been a joy to play. It's by far the best course in the Upper Cumberland area. (That's counting the courses in Sparta & Cookeville, TN) I've only been playing for 2 months and played a little over 20 rounds. Every time that I'm feeling good about my game I go out to RiverWatch and quickly and reminded how much I need to improve to play a course like this well. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND playing the course. Beautiful scenery. Very clean club house. Great golf carts and the fairways and greens are fantastic. October 30, 2014
Hidden Gem The course is in great condition. The layout is very challenging, but extremely fair. Make the trip to play this wonderful course October 28, 2014
The best deal around. This is a PGA level course. Clearly it has seen better days. I bought a deal and when I drove up I thought I was going to be playing in a cow pasture.. BOY WAS I MISTAKEN. This course is a gem. Hilly, tough, great greens, beautiful holes. With a little money invested, this would be better than the Hermitage. Hands down, its the best golf deal around. October 18, 2014
Great value - worth the drive This course will challenge your driving accuracy. Course is challenging but fair. Lots of elevation change. Great fun. October 2, 2014
Excelent fairways greens bunkers Excellent fairways, greens and bunkers. Rough has weeds but playable. Very beautiful scenic views all around from tee box to green. This course has it all for the money. Great value. Worth driving an hour for. September 28, 2014
Great Course a bit far from Nashville I played this course with a buddy on a great price from Golf Now. It has always been in great shape, the burgers are a must, my buddy and I usually bet a burger on the round, looser buys. A great experience, the only draw back is it's located in between Sparta and Smithville, with no easy way to get there faster than an hour and 30 minutes, unless you speed on Hwy 70, which I don't recommend, due to the number of speed traps, between Nashville and there. Great Course September 18, 2014
great course for good players I played from the senior tees. It was my first time so was at the mercy of the sloping landing areas and undulating greens which at times were huge, some with false fronts. Beautiful holes, many outstanding features such as several peninsula greens, one which required an approach over a creek canyon, onto a raised, bolder foundation. Lots of bunkers on fairways and around greens. In short, a great course. Definatly, RiverWatch is on my replay list. August 24, 2014
