Golfers have long enjoyed playing Whittle Springs, Knoxville’s first public golf course. The course has undergone many incarnations over its storied 75-plus year history, with Whittle Springs offering a fun and enjoyable golfing experience for everyone.

Whether you are playing from the par 71, 4,781-yard front tees to the par 70, 5,729-yard back tees, the classic design has small bent grass greens that vary in undulation, and sloping Bermuda fairways.

Take I-40 East to I-640 East follow to exit 6, Old Broadway Street NE
Make a right off the exit onto Old Broadway Street
Then a slight left onto Mineral Springs Avenue
Take Mineral Springs Avenue 0.2 miles to Whittle Springs Road and make a right
Continue on Whittle Springs Road for 0.1 miles
Turn left onto White Oak Lane which becomes Valley View Drive
Whittle Springs Golf Course will be on your right

From Chattanooga, TN:

Take I-24 East towards Atlanta/Knoxville to exit 185B I-75 North
From I-75 North take exit 385 I-640 East towards Lexington
Take I-640 East to exit 6, Old Broadway Street NE
Make a right off the exit onto Old Broadway Street
Then make a slight left onto Mineral Springs Avenue
Take Mineral Springs Avenue 0.2 miles to Whittle Springs Road and make a right
Continue on Whittle Springs Road for 0.1 miles
Turn left onto White Oak Lane which becomes Valley View Drive

Take I-85 South to exit 64B, I-26 West to exit 32B, I-40 West
Take exit 393, merge onto I-640 West towards Lexington
Take I-640 West to exit 6, Old Broadway Street NE
