Bent Creek Golf Course, designed by three time Masters and British Open Championship Winner Gary Player is a par 72 course that opened in 1972. The front nine hugs the valley floor while the back nine offers a challenging mountain course. A beautiful sparkling mountain stream meanders throughout the entire course making for a breathtaking contrast between water and the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. Rated 4 out of 5 by From the valley to pure target golf. Bent Creek front nine has good length, generous fairways & large, med-fast greens, in good condition. The back nine was completly different-all target golf, with short holes, w/small landing areas & fast, severely sloped greens. Three pins were in impossible spots. If a straight uphill put of ten feet, misses by an inch on either side, then rolls back, off the green....that's a bit extreme. It does have some memorable holes, but making short holes "tricked-up" is not fun golf. Put the back nine pins in realistic spots, & it could be a fun course. October 28, 2015
Rated 2 out of 5 by Awful day of golf at an awful course I'm no pro, that's for sure. I lost count of how many balls I lost. The course was in awful shape, the staff made sarcastic comments to me cause I was a lil late for my tee time because of the courses location, and when you finally find the course, the location of the parking for the clubhouse is hard to locate. Fairways were not even fairways. A lot of blind shots cause of the hilly, or mountainous terrain. Just too many negatives for me to comment on. I will not be back and will not recommend this course to anyone. October 18, 2015
Rated 4 out of 5 by Target course, very challenging Gary Player designed with water and hills thru out. Target course, you must be accurate. You will either birdie or double bogey. Risk reward. October 12, 2015
Rated 4 out of 5 by Two different nines Great course for the money. Front nine warms your irons up. You will need then for precise shots on the back. Fun to play and great staff. One of the grounds crew was especially nice. I made sure to look him up to speak on my return round. He made my day. I will play this course everytime I'm in the Gatlinburg area. October 10, 2015

Rated 3 out of 5 by Good, not great I loved the design, bit greens were pretty bad. On the back, we got behind two fivesomes. My wife quit because it was taking so long. The staff was great. September 11, 2015
Rated 1 out of 5 by Golfer Beware $50/per player to play a course that is wedged into an area that barely has room, including a tee shot hit from artificial turf. Greens were in bad shape, fairways were ok and tee boxes were narrow with back tees placed in terrible orientation to fairways on at least 6 holes. Will not play here again. September 8, 2015
Rated 4 out of 5 by Great round of golf! My round of golf was great. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The course overall is in pretty good shape. However many of the greens are terrible for a couse of this caliber. The back 9 was beautiful and challenging. Would definitely play again. September 6, 2015
