The 27 beautiful holes of River Oaks Golf Plantation are located on the site of a former nature preserve. Located conveniently just minutes from downtown Myrtle Beach and the Atlantic Ocean, the quiet and seclusion makes it hard to believe that you can be at the beach, Myrtle Beach Airport or some of the best attractions in town such as the Pavilion, Broadway at the Beach or NASCAR Café in less than 5 minutes.

The three nine-hole courses feature recently renovated undulating Champion Ultradwarf greens and tree-lined fairways. Follow Highway 501, over the Intercoastal Waterway Bridge , to a golfer’s sanctuary where mornings are spent chasing birdies and afternoons are spent in search of eagles - River Oaks Golf Plantation.

rgagfore I think the quality/ layout of the course is superior to the Wild Dunes Links course (twice the price) November 17, 2014
WET ! No evidence of overseeding, but as others have said, the ground around the greens is like a swamp!! If they did overseed, it is past time for the water to be reduced because balls plug and bury when hit just short or to the side of greens. No run up shots to front pins!!! Otherwise, the layout is fun and in nice shape. Other detraction of overwatering is the unsightly ruts caused by golf carts or maintenance equipment. November 14, 2014
Don't count on any roll. Several wet spots mid fairway and greens. take one club more and clean your ball often. November 12, 2014
Too Wet We had played the course several years ago and enjoyed it. This time course played very wet even though it had not rained. It appeared it had been over watered to the point there was water ponding in some fairways. November 10, 2014
Great course They had a deal running 9 holes for $15.00, can't beat that. Afternoon tee time for our three some. Course was in great shape. Staff was friendly. I've played here before in their scramble, which is another great value. November 4, 2014
Course is in fantastic condition This is second time playing here. In from out of town and price was great as well. I will play here again next visit to Myrtle Beach. October 24, 2014
Great course lots of water Great course lots of water not very forgiving if your drive is not in fairway. Greens played very fast as well which was a great challenge. October 22, 2014
