River Oaks Golf Plantation
I think the quality/ layout of the course is superior to the Wild Dunes Links course (twice the price)

No evidence of overseeding, but as others have said, the ground around the greens is like a swamp!! If they did overseed, it is past time for the water to be reduced because balls plug and bury when hit just short or to the side of greens. No run up shots to front pins!!! Otherwise, the layout is fun and in nice shape. Other detraction of overwatering is the unsightly ruts caused by golf carts or maintenance equipment.

Don't count on any roll.
Several wet spots mid fairway and greens. take one club more and clean your ball often.

We had played the course several years ago and enjoyed it. This time course played very wet even though it had not rained. It appeared it had been over watered to the point there was water ponding in some fairways.

They had a deal running 9 holes for $15.00, can't beat that. Afternoon tee time for our three some. Course was in great shape. Staff was friendly. I've played here before in their scramble, which is another great value.

Great course lots of water
Great course lots of water not very forgiving if your drive is not in fairway. Greens played very fast as well which was a great challenge.
