Prestwick Country Club
At Prestwick, Pete and P.B. Dye have crafted a links-style masterpiece reminiscent of Dye designs. Over 1.3 million cubic yards of earth were moved in sculpting towering dune-like berms, stairway bunkers and bulkhead-protected greens. A dense pine forest, sandy waste areas and meandering streams and lakes frame the generous landing areas afforded the player from any of the six sets of tees. Having hosted the U.S. Open qualifier and state Mid-Amateur Championship, Prestwick has earned a reputation as one of the most memorable golf experiences in the Carolinas. *Non-metal spikes required.

The course calls for accurate tee shots as well as iron play. The fairways are generous, but the rough is mounded and rolling. Bunkers are placed in perfect locations around the fairways and greens. The greens are of good size and are rolling.
